Join your fellow GER friends at the Annual GER Year-End/White Elephant Party!!
This is our fun annual event to celebrate the end of the year and it will also include a white elephant gift exchange! We will also review the predictions some of us made one year ago and begin the prediction process for the year ahead! Please send your RSVP asap as space is limited to 60 people! Here are the details:
Date and time: Saturday, January 9th at 7pm
Location: Rock Bottom Brewery, 28256 Diehl Rd in Warrenville (at Cantera)
Who: GER members and a guest (no children under age 16 please)
RSVP Required by January 5th: Please send your rsvp to Amy Marker either by email to amarker at sbcglobal.net, personal FB message or by text to me at 630-667-8463. Please include your name and the number of people that will be in your party. Please do not rsvp directly to this post.
RSVP Deadline: Tuesday, January 5th as our final count is due to Rock Bottom on this day.
Food and Drinks: There will be a wonderful appetizer buffet that will include assorted pizzas, wings, chicken quesadillas, chips and guacamole and fresh, raw veggies and dip. There will also be a cash bar.
White Elephant Gift Exchange Details: If you would like to participate in the Gift Exchange, please plan to bring a wrapped gift with an approximate value of $15 – $20. Gifts can be silly, practical, naughty or nice but make sure it is something that you would like to receive yourself (no junk). This does not mean that anyone needs to go out to buy anything; however you are definitely welcome to buy a gift as opposed to re-gifting something you may already have. This will all be in good fun!
